WHAT WE'RE RESEARCHING
Research is a critical part of our design process. Our curiosity and motivation to learn is what drives us. We want to become experts on any topic or challenge that comes up during our design process. From reading books by experts, creating and analyzing surveys, and conducting interviews and listening, we strive to gain a better understanding of the task at hand. Throughout our research for both our real and speculative projects, we began to see thematic patterns.
Public Space, Community, Wellbeing, and Art are four of the most common themes that we find in our work.

PUBLIC SPACE
"Public space" refers to an area that is open and accessible to all peoples, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, age or socio-economic level. Plazas, parks, and other gathering spaces are examples of public spaces.
COMMUNITY

The term "community" defines a group of people that are unified due to their shared interests, the area where they live, culture, goals, or policy.
WELLBEING

In simple terms, "wellbeing" is the sense of feeling well. It is the experience of health, happiness, purpose, and prosperity.

Art is the expression of one's creativity. It is the product of one's imagination, culture, thoughts, ideas, and skill.
